Young Augusto lives in boredom and meaninglessness until he falls in love with Eugenia - a
beautiful woman who happened to pass by him on the street. In his quest to find out
something about the mysterious lady and get to know her, he discovers that her appearance
has caused a strange effect - he begins to fall in love with every woman he sees. So far non-
existent in his life, this phenomenon leads him to another woman - Rosario, whom he has
known for a long time, but for the first time sees with his "new" eyes. That love for both
women causes Augusto to act unwisely and progress in his attempts to win them over, until at
one point he realizes that he urgently needs to choose one of them.
